The LoadMatch® System
The LoadMatch® System Products:
Taco's growing family of "green building" LoadMatch System components includes:

LoadMatch Circulators for quiet, efficient operation in LoadMatch fan coil heating and cooling systems.

LoadMatch Thermostats for exceptional control of heat pump or fan coil LoadMatch Systems

LoadMatch Twin Tee Fittings to ensure the comfort and performance of LoadMatch single-pipe hydronic systems and primary secondary two-pipe Hydronic systems.
The Taco LoadMatch® system is an innovative, new approach to hydronic heating and cooling that enables you to design and deliver more efficient, more comfortable systems to your customers while saving time, energy and money, too.

As a Taco Green Product, LoadMatch® is ideal for "sustainable design" or "green building" projects and can help your projects qualify for LEED Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The typical reverse return piping system has been around for years. But you know its limitations. It's imprecise, cumbersome and requires endless adjustment and numerous control valves to force water through the loop. Taco’s LoadMatch® system is different in almost every way. The LoadMatch system replaces the typical two-pipe hydronic system with a one-pipe system that eliminates most balancing valves and expensive, energy-consuming control valves by replacing them with energy-efficient, low kW LoadMatch® circulators. The pumps help deliver the water where it needs to go instead of forcing the water where it doesn’t want to go.

That’s the concept behind LoadMatch® and why LoadMatch® systems deliver dramatically improved performance. And that’s the reason LoadMatch® systems are used in so many challenging applications such as office buildings, hospitals, hotels, apartment complexes, schools and other commercial and industrial facilities throughout the US and Canada. LoadMatch offers big advantages versus conventional hydronic heating and cooling systems.

Building Occupants Will Be More Comfortable
LoadMatch® assures the required flow to all heating and cooling units. Your heating and air conditioning system will deliver BTU’s where they’re needed and when they’re needed.

You’ll Have Total Control
With LoadMatch® circulators in place, water in the system behaves exactly the way you want it to. All loads operate separately from one another. The secondary flow that circulates through each terminal is independent of the system’s primary distribution pumps.

Building Owners Will Save Energy
With the elimination of control valves and most balancing valves, lower pump head and less power are required to move the water.

You’ll Spend Less Time Designing

The simplicity of the LoadMatch® system shaves hours of planning off your jobs.  And our innovative, new Taco Hydronic Systems Solutions (HSS) intelligent CAD software will reduce errors and save you typically 30% in total design and construction administration time.

Everyone Saves Money
You reduce first costs because you use about 40% less pipe and fittings, no control valves and almost no balancing valves. Lower pump head and operation of pumps to match the load reduce operating costs. By replacing control valves with highly reliable, maintenance-free wet rotor circulators, you reduce maintenance costs.  All this adds up to big savings on the system, typically up to 30% of life cycle costs.
