Safety, Loss Prevention Program Available from MCAA


A revised and expanded version of its "Model Safety & Loss Prevention Program" has been issued by the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA).

The program is designed to assist mechanical construction firms in the development and implementation of comprehensive safety and loss prevention programs. The publication includes an industry-specific safety and health program model plus 12 additional model program addendums that cover accident investigations, blood borne pathogens, confined space entry, excavation safety, fall protection, hazard communication, hexavalent chromium, job safety analysis, lead, lockout/tagout, mold prevention and respiratory prevention. All programs are designed to be quickly and easily tailored to meet a company’s specific needs, according to MCAA.

The MCAA Model Safety & Loss Prevention Program is available to members for $225 and to non-members for $675. from www.mcaa.org/store. Members receive one free copy as a member benefit.
