AHR Expo, ASHRAE Winter Conference Return to Orlando in January, 2010


The AHR Expo and ASHRAE Winter Conference will be held in Orlando, Fla., next January. It will be the first time in five years that the events have been held in Orlando.

ASHRAE's Winter Conference begins on Jan. 23 and runs through Jan. 27 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel.

The International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating (AHR) Expo will run from Jan. 25 through Jan. 27 at the Orange County Convention Center.

The AHR Expo will have more than 1,800 exhibitors, including dozens of industry organizations. Some 25,000 visitors are expected from the U.S. and more than 120 other countries.

The Winter Conference technical program will feature more than 90 programs and 300 speakers. The program will address industry issues such as:
  • The impact of key ASHRAE standards
  • Humidity control applications
  • Sustainable building performance, energy conservation
  • Alternative energy practices
  • Professional skills improvement.
