Taco Expands Its KS Pump Line With Addition Of KS1217 With Pumping Capacity Up To 9,000 GPM


At the AHR Expo, Orlando, Fl, January 25-17, 2010 – Taco, Inc. has announced the availability of its KS1217 Vertical In-Line Split Coupled Pumps. This new pump addition complements the existing KS product line with improved performance and higher efficiencies. Taco offers more than 30 individual KS pumps.

The new KS1217 Pump extends the operating range of the KS Pump line with capacities up to 9,000 GPM and heads up to 300 ft.

All KS Vertical Split-Coupled In-Line Pumps come with a cast iron casing, high efficiency bronze impeller, stainless steel shaft and precision aluminum coupling. Their split coupler design permits a seal change-out with the need to disturb the motor or piping, reducing maintenance time. The pumps' axial load is hydraulically balanced to increase bearing life and deliver better pump efficiencies and lower NPSH requirements.

KS Pumps' recirculating line flushes seal faces and extends seal life, resulting in less downtime due to seal leaks.

Optional ductile iron support stands are available for all KS models, further reducing the pumps' mechanical room footprint.

KS Pumps are ideal for HVAC and industrial applications, including pressure boosting, cooling towers and domestic water service.
