Taco Introduces Pro-Fit Pump Less Volute Series


Cranston RI, November 15, 2005—Extending its Pro-Fit line of replacement parts, Taco has introduced its new Replacement Kit Pro-Fit® Pump Less Volute Series. Each Pump Less Volute Series model is made of high-quality Pro-Fit materials and each pre-assembled model is a universal replacement for many circulator models, minus the volute.

The Replacement Kit (RPK) Pump Less Volute Series is an economical alternative for replacements of Bell & Gossett or Armstrong circulators. Significant costs are saved by re-using the original pump body and replacing only the moving parts with a universal Taco-supplied replacement pump.

Each Pro-Fit Series model includes a heavy-duty, maintenance-free, permanently-lubricated motor, a universal bearing assembly for iron or bronze pumps, a universal one-kit-fits-all replaceable bearing cartridge design, and a durable Noryl® impeller ideal for open or closed systems.
