Taco Announces Innovation & Development Center Project


At the AHR Expo, Las Vegas, NV, January 31, 2011 - Taco is embarking on a new project that is not only exciting for our employees and customers but for the HVAC Industry as a whole.

Taco will build a new Innovation & Development Center consisting of a two-story 24,037 square foot addition in combination with 24,487 square feet of interior renovation. This new Innovation & Development Center will utilize, display and provide a hands-on learning environment for the best equipment and systems that today's HVAC industry offers for comfort, efficiency and sustainability. The HVAC products and systems will be visible throughout the entire facility forming "Living Laboratories” that allow for close-up viewing, hands-on learning and teaching.

Taco will include its own LoadMatch® single pipe system, the new LOFlo™ Injection Mixing System, and iWorx® building automation controls.

The scope of learning facilities, Living Laboratories and mechanical equipment are listed below:
